QEC Mission

Aim
The main aim of QEC at AIHE is committed to ensure quality is a norm in everything we do at AIHE. the QEC at AIHE University does not just implement quality enhancement rules, it takes confident steps in making the University work en route to excellence. Aligned with this vision, the QEC entrenches quality in all its academic degree programs, develops quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation, and monitors the people who are involved in such activities (faculty, students, and staff). The QEC is responsible to liaise with all the respective nominated degree programs/assessment team members and coordinate with them to ensure conformity to the quality standards of various prestigious national and international regulatory bodies. The QEC of AIHE performs meticulously.
The aim is to create awareness about self-assessment, its procedures, and its implementation at the departmental level. Streamline the development of curriculum for different programs.

Functions of Quality Assurance Committee
The quality Assurance Committee (QAC) consists of members from all the departments of the university. These members are involved in all QEC activities and they are the focal persons/ representatives of their departments. Due to their active involvement in QEC activities, they will bridge the department with the QEC. QAC meetings are regularly conducted to discuss various quality assurance activities in the university.
Program Team
A program Team is a team of two to three faculty members, nominated by the Head of the Department that is responsible for the preparation of self-assessment rules of their concerned department. Head of Departments can nominate two or three faculty members (Lecturer or above) from the department to be members of the Program team.
Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) AIHE will be conducted annually, to check the compliance of the university with the above-mentioned IPE standards. Evidence against each standard and sub-criterion in the form of meeting minutes of various bodies, real-time data, records from the university portal, reports of different events, and financial reports will be prepared by QEC with the support of the Registrar’s Office.
Liaison with International Quality Assurance Organizations
QEC will liaison with various quality assurance networks and agencies on behalf of Askari Institute Of Higher Education. QEC will propose to the Board of Directors for membership acquisition with any national or international QA network or agency when required. The membership fee will be catered for by QEC annual budget. All the payments for new membership or annual fees for the prevailing memberships will be made by the university manager of finance, after formal approval from the members of the Board of Directors.
